Terms of Service | The Prompt Case

By using The Prompt Case website, studio, or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Design and preview: You can use our AI design studio to generate artwork and preview designs on your phone model before placing an order. Generation is limited per browser, network, and day. Payment is required only when you are ready to have your custom case printed and shipped.
Your responsibility: You are responsible for the prompts, photographs, and other material you submit. The studio supports broad creative requests, but generating an image does not guarantee that it can legally be printed or published.
Right to decline: We may decline a community submission or cancel and refund an order if its artwork is illegal, harmful, unsuitable for a general audience, or clearly violates another person’s rights.

Credited sharing is optional: You can submit a design for review with a display name and an optional public prompt. You are not required to do this.
Anonymous studio designs: If a design is never attached to an order, we may publish it in the community gallery as Anonymous after review. We will not show your name, email, phone number, or original prompt.
Ordered designs stay private unless submitted: If you place an order for a design, we will not publish it unless you submit it.
Review before publication: Submissions and anonymous studio designs are reviewed before they appear in the gallery. We may approve or reject them under our content rules.
Display license: By using the studio, you grant The Prompt Case a non-exclusive license to display generated artwork that is not attached to an order, anonymously, in the community gallery, and to let other users view, remix, and order it. If you submit a design yourself, that license also covers your chosen public details.
Creator credit: Submitted designs may show your chosen display name. Anonymous studio designs are credited as Anonymous.
Prompt visibility: Your original prompt appears publicly only when you choose to show it on a submission. Anonymous studio publications do not show the original prompt.
Removal requests: You may request public removal at any time by emailing hello@thepromptcase.com. We may retain files needed for existing orders and required records.

Service ownership: The Prompt Case website, branding, design system, and proprietary software are owned by The Prompt Case.
Your content: You keep any rights you already hold in prompts, photographs, and other material you provide. You grant us a limited license to process and store that material to generate previews, manufacture orders, provide support, maintain required records, and display unpurchased generated artwork anonymously in the community gallery as described above.
Generated artwork: The Prompt Case does not claim ownership of artwork generated for you. You may use it subject to applicable law, provider terms, and third-party rights. Generated results may not be unique, and we do not guarantee that an output is copyrightable, exclusive, or free of third-party claims.
Third-party material: Names, characters, logos, brands, and other protected material remain the property of their respective owners. Generating an image does not transfer those rights.
Acceptable use: You agree not to abuse the AI studio with automated scrapers, excessive automated requests, or malicious inputs.

Custom production: Each phone case is manufactured individually on demand based on your approved artwork and chosen phone model.
Accuracy of selections: Customers are responsible for verifying their exact phone brand and model before checkout.
Order acceptance: An order confirmation email confirms that your order has been received. Production begins once payment is verified.

Prices: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery is free across India.
Payment methods: We accept major debit and credit cards, UPI, and Netbanking through authorized payment gateways and payment methods available at checkout.
Cash on delivery (COD): For cash on delivery orders, the advance amount shown at checkout is payable online to initiate custom printing. The remaining balance is collected in cash upon doorstep delivery by our courier partner.
COD advance policy: Because each case is printed to order with your custom artwork and cannot be restocked or resold, the advance payment is non-refundable once production starts.

Dispatch time: Most cases are dispatched within 2 to 3 business days after order confirmation.
Delivery time: Courier delivery typically takes 2 to 5 business days depending on your delivery pincode. Remote locations may take longer.
Tracking: Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is dispatched.

Cancellations before production: You may cancel your order for a full refund by emailing hello@thepromptcase.com before custom printing begins. Once printing starts, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.
Made-to-order policy: Because cases are custom-printed for your approved artwork and phone model, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind or customer selection errors.
Defect replacement guarantee: If your case arrives damaged during transit, misprinted, defective, or for the incorrect model due to our error, email hello@thepromptcase.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. Sharing an unboxing video helps our team verify transit damage and dispatch a free replacement promptly.

Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, The Prompt Case is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.
Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms or your use of the website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
